Would you like to host a special event in the City of San Diego? Getting the Special Event Permit Application easy! Simply call or visit the Office of Special Events at:

$150 permit application fee
$10 per business day late fee

Special Event Permit Application

  1. You may download the Special Event Permit Application using Adobe Acrobat.
  2. If you have the free version of Adobe Reader, you will be able to type in the blanks on the application, but you will not be able to save your work. Print each page as you complete it and do not close your browser if you do not want to lose your work in progress.
  3. If you have purchased the full version of Adobe Acrobat 7.0, you will be able to download the application to your computer, type in the blanks on the application and save the information on your computer. You will not lose information that you have saved.
  4. Once you have completed the application and any required attachments, print a hard copy and mail or deliver it to the Office of Special Events, 1250 Sixth Avenue, 7th Flr, San Diego, CA 92101
