The SDPD Recruiting Unit is available to answer questions about the hiring process and career opportunities. To meet us in person come to any of our Job Fairs & Events.

Practice Physical Abilities Test - Candidates wishing to practice the Physical Abilities Test before starting the process may do so every Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at the San Diego Regional Law Enforcement Training Center, Miramar College (behind the tennis courts) 10440 Black Mountain Road, San Diego, CA 92126. Practices will be cancelled without notice in the event of inclement weather. Additional practice sessions are available upon request.
