Parking restrictions are necessary to properly manage and maximize public benefit from the City's on-street parking resources. Safety is the primary goal of all parking restrictions. Restrictions also support the diverse needs of the City's on-street parking users and stakeholders. Parking citations are issued to improve compliance with these restrictions. Without parking citations, these restrictions would frequently be ignored.
